Ighalo fires struggling Granada

Ex-Nigeria U20 captain Odion Ighalo was Granada hero as his goal beat Malaga to give them a fighting chance against relegation.   
On Saturday, the former Julius Berger forward scored the only goal in the 28th minute to give Granada a 1-0 win over Malaga. 
  
Granada are battling for survival and this result have given them massive boast. They are now 16th on the 20 teams table with 32 points from 33 games. 
  
Ighalo said he is happy to get the goal and the victory, that they will keep up the momentum in their quest to beat the dreaded drop. 
  
"I am happy to have scored such an important goal. The victory was what we prayed for and it is good we got it. We will keep working hard in the remaining games in order to survive the drop,"
